'S POLICY ON COMBATING BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION
FIGHTING POLICY
As Güler Customs, we are committed to ethical values, integrity, and transparency in every area of our operations. This policy has been developed to define the responsibilities of all our employees, managers, business partners, and third parties acting on our behalf in combating bribery and corruption.
Purpose and Scope
This policy provides a framework for preventing, detecting, and reporting bribery and corruption;
-Ensuring compliance with laws and ethical standards,
-Protecting the company's reputation,
-Creating a fair and transparent business environment,
-Avoiding the negative consequences of bribery and corruption.
This policy applies to all employees, managers, interns, consultants, suppliers, business partners, and all third parties acting on behalf of the Company within Güler Gümrük.
Definitions
-Bribery: Offering, promising, giving, requesting, or receiving an unjust benefit, directly or indirectly, to a person or for another person, with the intent to cause that person to abuse their position or promise to abuse their position in order to secure an advantage for themselves or another person.
-Corruption: The misuse of an official position or the use of authority required for the performance of an official duty for the purpose of obtaining a private advantage.
-Gifts and Hospitality: Low-value gifts and hospitality given or received for the purpose of developing business relationships, provided they are reasonable and proportionate.
Prohibited Behaviors
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
-Offering, soliciting, or promising bribes to any public official or private sector employee.
-Accepting, soliciting, or receiving bribes from any person.
-Pressuring or directing any person to abuse their position for the purpose of benefiting themselves or another person.
-Using company resources or information for personal gain or unfair profit.
-Failing to avoid situations that could create a conflict of interest or failing to report them.
Gift and Hospitality Policy
-Employees, business partners, or representatives must carefully review the relevant provisions of this policy before accepting any gifts or hospitality.
-If there is any doubt about accepting or giving gifts or hospitality, the matter should be immediately referred to the relevant manager or the Ethics Committee for clarification.
Notification Obligation
Anyone aware of any violation or suspicious activity covered by this policy must immediately report the matter to the Güler Customs Ethics Hotline or the relevant manager.
Consequences of Violations
Violation of this policy may result in serious consequences, including disciplinary action, termination of employment, and/or criminal prosecution.
Policy Implementation and Review
This policy has been approved by the Güler Customs Management Board and will be reviewed regularly.
